Children’s online puppet show

Children in Monash organised a live online puppet show that was shared with their community during the recent Melbourne lockdown as a creative way to commemorate the Centenary of the passing of Abdu’l-Baha and to share stories about His life. The children created the puppets, the artwork and also narrated the stories. They were supported and assisted to do this by the junior youth in the community.

These stories were selected from the many inspiring stories that children learn in Baha’i Children classes based on the curriculum of the Ruhi Institute. These classes assist children to develop the requisite moral and spiritual qualities that help them form the foundation of a life of service to humanity and draw many examples of the manifestation of these qualities from the life of Abdu’l-Baha. Stories from His life feature prominently in Baha’i Children classes.

The music video presented as part of the show draws on an example of service inspired by Abdu’l-Baha’s words, “ Let your heart burn with loving-kindness…”
